Information we collect

We collect the information you provide when requesting a quote, booking vehicle transport, signing an agreement, making a payment, contacting us or accessing your order. This may include your name, email, mobile number, addresses, vehicle details, route, requested dates, signature and payment status. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Nitro Car Shipping.

SMS consent records

When you choose to receive text updates, we record your mobile number, the consent language shown, the date and time of consent, and related technical information such as your IP address. This helps us document and honour your communication preferences.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

How we use information

• Prepare and save quotes and bookings.
• Process payments, agreements, pickup, rail transport and delivery.
• Send requested transactional quote, booking, payment and shipment updates.
• Provide customer support, prevent fraud and secure our services.
• Measure website use and improve our services.
• Meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Website analytics and Meta Pixel

We keep limited first-party operational analytics in our CRM, including visited pages, quote stages, selected routes, approximate network location and campaign tags such as UTM source, medium and campaign. Full IP addresses are not stored in this analytics log, and advertising click identifiers are used only to classify the traffic source rather than being stored in full.

If you allow analytics, we use Meta Pixel to understand website visits and quote-funnel activity, such as quote searches, displayed prices, started bookings, signed agreements and completed card payments. This can help us measure advertising and improve the website. We do not send your name, email, phone number, VIN, signature or pickup and delivery street addresses to Meta through the Pixel.

You may decline analytics when the website asks for your choice. We do not load Meta Pixel after you decline or when your browser sends a supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

Service providers

We may provide information to service providers that help operate our services, such as payment processors, email and SMS platforms, mobile carriers, hosting providers, rail and vehicle transport partners. Mobile information is shared only as necessary to deliver the messages and services you request. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us and must protect it.

Your text message choices

Retention and security

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, to maintain business and consent records, and to meet legal obligations. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent to optional communications, or ask questions about our privacy practices. We may retain certain information where required by law or necessary to document transactions and consent.
