Which cities does Nitro currently serve?
Our active rail network serves Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. The quote tool only prices lanes currently available for booking.
What does terminal-to-terminal mean?
You bring the vehicle to our origin terminal and collect it from the destination terminal. This is the most cost-effective way to ship by rail.
Can you pick up and deliver my vehicle?
Yes. Door service starts at $200 per end in included cities. Extended-area rates are shown beside every available city in the instant quote.
Which vehicle types can Nitro ship?
Car, SUV, Minivan and Standard Truck use the standard rail rate. Large SUV and Large Truck add $650. Every vehicle must start, steer, brake and roll; we do not ship inoperable vehicles.
Are taxes included in the instant price?
The quote shows your transport subtotal and any card fee. Applicable tax is calculated using the delivery province when checkout is completed.
Can I book without calling anyone?
Yes. Check your price, submit the booking, verify your phone, e-sign the agreement and choose your payment online. No sales call is required to place your order; terminal instructions and shipment updates are sent digitally.
Is insurance included?
Yes. Cargo insurance is included in the quoted transport amount. Coverage applies to the vehicle during transport and is subject to the carrier’s policy terms, inspection records and exclusions.
Can I leave personal items in my vehicle?
Certain transport-related items, such as tires and vehicle parts, may be permitted when disclosed in advance. Please do not leave valuables, cash, jewelry or important documents. Personal items are not covered by cargo insurance and remain at your risk.
Is the transaction safe?
Yes. Nitro Car Shipping is operated by Nitro Logistics Group Inc., a registered Canadian company that has shipped hundreds of vehicles. Booking access is phone-protected, agreements are e-signed and all charges are shown before payment.
